As I mentioned a while ago, I’m working on a review of The Rocky Horror Picture Show (as a video for my YouTube channel, primarily, though as a scripted video I’ll post the script here, too), describing how it’s a morality play.

It’s coming along well. Almost finished… at 8500 words. It’s not brief, but I really like it so far.

I’m actually struggling a little bit at the conclusion because I think the deep dive into the plot and characters makes any conclusion almost superfluous. I think I might talk a little about why people sometimes miss that the movie is a morality play.

One real downside to larger projects is that they leave so little time for other things. Like, for example, I have a mystery novel that I should be writing. At this point, I think I’m going to have to take a few days off from work to get back into it. My backlog of stuff to do is a bit overly long for my own good.
